QUAY THE CRITTERBORG- OOAK DOLL
This is Quay the Critterborg, the latest in companion engineering. These little cyborgs are ready to bond with their new household, eager to entertain, comfort and help where ever they are needed. Their furred bodies are warm- not like a cold robot- so that they can provide familiar mammalian comfort to their human cuddlers. This new Critterborg model is designed to be a little more independent and to encourage their humans to go out in the world and explore with them. Quay likes to explore green forests and nature preserves! He's trying to get as much time as he can outside exploring before the winter comes. Right now he is enjoying the leaves turning all sort of colors!
This doll is hand made using cast urethane from original sculptures, a hand sewn faux fur body. This doll is not articulated, it is a floppy style doll stuffed with polyfill and weighted to sit for display. Glass "eyes". His bag is wool and he carries a little locket that can open to insert a tiny photo or note. His bag can open and close and will come with a secret surprise inside.
His eyes glow BRIGHT purple in the dark! Just charge them up in sunlight or UV.
As with all of my original dolls, this piece will come with a signed and dated etched wooden tag marking it as one of my one of a kind critters.
This is a piece of artwork intended for adult collectors. It can be played with and cuddled a little but please treat it with care to prevent scuffs. Clean any cast parts with a slightly damp cloth, do not use solvents. Fur can be combed and styled if desired.
