TIPTREE THE CRITTERBORG- OOAK DOLL
This is Tiptree the Critterborg, the latest in companion engineering. These little cyborgs are ready to bond with their new household, eager to entertain, comfort and help where ever they are needed. Their furred bodies are warm- not like a cold robot- so that they can provide familiar mammalian comfort to their human cuddlers. This new Critterborg model is designed to be a little more independent and to encourage their humans to go out in the world and explore with them.
Tiptree enjoys burrowing into fall leaves and surprising people! He's outside right now scaring trick or treaters this way. He's made about 5 kids cry so far. Tiptree also likes to bake, mostly just cookies or tiny pies!
Tiptree is a very special doll because his cast parts are all translucent and glow purple in the dark! Charge him up in UV/sunlight first!
This doll is hand made using cast urethane from original sculptures, a hand sewn faux fur body. This doll is not articulated, it is a floppy style doll stuffed with polyfill and weighted to sit for display. Glass "eyes". His bag is wool and he carries a little cast brass sabertooth skull and other charms on it. His bag can open and close and will come with a secret surprise inside.
As with all of my original dolls, this piece will come with a signed and dated etched wooden tag marking it as one of my one of a kind critters.
This is a piece of artwork intended for adult collectors. It can be played with and cuddled a little but please treat it with care to prevent scuffs. Clean any cast parts with a slightly damp cloth, do not use solvents. Fur can be combed and styled if desired.
