MAUMO THE FOO DOG- REMJIE COLLABORATION OOAK DOLL

This is Maumo the foo dog! He is a stern and stoic character, he takes his job as a warden very seriously! Sometimes if you give Maumo a little rice wine he will show some sense of humor- not too much or he will just fall asleep. He loves takoyaki!

This is a collaborative piece between myself and Remjie , doll maker friend of mine! She provided me with blank casts of her own making ( the head and paws) while i painted and finished the doll itself. We love to collaborate!

This doll's necklace is made from a hand carved mammoth bone from shivory.ru ( provided my Remjie) two pewter pieces by Miyo Decay, and two glass beads made by Meital in Israel. The rest is glass and stone.

Maumo has cool back spines that sparkle in the light and GLOW in the dark! His long strands also glow in the dark- charge him in sunlight first and he will GLOW so bright!

8" tall seated.

This is a hand made doll using faux fur and stuffing with hand painted and sealed cast urethane head/paws/ears with reflective glass eyes. No armature, soft style body.

As with all of my original dolls, this piece will come with a signed and dated etched wooden tag marking it as one of my one of a kind critters.

This is a piece of artwork intended for adult collectors. It can be played with and cuddled a little but please treat it with care to prevent scuffs. Clean any cast parts with a slightly damp cloth, do not use solvents.
