ALMACH THE MANTICORE- OOAK ORIGINAL HANDMADE DOLL

This is Almach the Manticore! He isn't always the kindest creature and can be pretty scary. Almach takes himself a little too seriously but I know for a fact he really enjoys having his mane braided and set with a fancy ribbon on the end. Since he likes to project a big and tough image he thinks it's embarrassing and snarls when asked about it. I think he just needs to be indulged by a kind owner- maybe an understanding friend will help him be a little less scary? Almach is a monster so don't expect him to change his nature but i know he's capable of smiling. Almach loves to eat crabs and persimmons.

This one of a kind, hand made doll is made with hand painted, cast urethane parts that are hand painted and sealed. His body is soft faux fur with stuffing. His claws, face and stinger are slightly translucent lending it a lifelike look. This doll is not articulated, it is a soft sculptural piece. The stinger is made from urethane and fabric, it is articulated so that it can be bent and posed in many positions. His jewelry is made from brass necklace pieces with a cast bat skull made by Miyu Decay. The fur was dyed and blended with some patterning added to his chest and sides.

Almach's hair has been hand glued, piece by piece using alpaca hair. It is then styled and adorned with metal beads to give him a wild, unkempt look.

Standing height is 14"- he can sit with something to prop him up. You could also buy a doll stand to display him standing up.

As with all of my original dolls, this piece will come with a signed and dated etched wooden tag marking it as one of my one of a kind critters.

This is a piece of artwork intended for adult collectors. It can be played with and cuddled a little but please treat it with care to prevent scuffs. Clean any cast parts with a slightly damp cloth, do not use solvents. Fur can be combed and styled if desired.
