ANUBOT CUSTOM 1/6 FIGURE - FLS-1 AKA RED

"Built for stealth and speed, these units were both feared and admired during the Last War. Their gracefully arched profile and long ears earned them the nickname "Anubot". Efficient single unit snipers, they did not need a spotter as their secondary eyes and ear units were designed to measure wind, distance, earth curve and projectile arc while the primary eyes focused on their target. Their long cable bundle tails serve as a cat-like counterbalance and as a tool to interface with other machines. Quiet and reserved, they have not taken to their decommissioned life as easily as the Robodogman units they served with. Some still wander, trying to find their place in a new world...."

"The story of FLS-1 is a unique one. Most Anubot units are predictable, ordered and take themselves very seriously , hardly any of them are socialized enough to use a unique call sign or nickname. Serial number FLS-1 was taken off of active combat during the Great War after a malfunction was detected in his circuitry following mortar round damage at close-proximity. The War ended and he never had a chance to be of service after his recall. Given his freedom, FLS-1  resented never having a chance to prove himself on the battlefield. This cyborg developed what might be called an Ego in a human, a desperate need for importance and approval. Unfortunately he decided to keep doing what Anubots did best: killing. Adorning himself in an eye catching red cloak, stripping his factory enamel off to add a self-applied red striped hull FLS- 1 became known as The Red Mist for the state of most of his victims who never even saw him coming. "RED" was so good at what he did he didn't need camouflage or a low profile. Many have tried to stop him, none have succeeded. What's even more odd about this character is that he will leave some of his victims alive, insisting that they spread his name and his legend throughout the Wastes and the newly budding cities. Some survivors have even called him "charming" saying that he displays a cockiness and suave self awareness, eager to brag on his exploits and talk about himself. A charm that can turn on a dime if crossed like most dangerous social outliers. Perhaps one day Flash will find peace or attain the legendary status he seeks so that the terror can stop. One also hopes that instead The Fine Red Mist will meet his match.... and soon..."

This is a 1/6 ( 12" tall) scaled posable one of a kind figure. This is a collaboration between myself and Tripped Wire props. The blank body and clothes are store bought but modified! I did NOT sew the jumpsuit!  I did make the cloak. The head, hands and feet sculpted on my own and cast in urethane. The tail is my own make and is poseable.  The cast parts are painted and assembled so the figure can still move and pose.  Be mindful of his hands, as they are made to come out.

The small glass bottles on his belt glow in the dark.

This figure will come with the stand pictured.

Please treat this piece with care! It can be played with and posed but don't get too nuts with him. His fingers and toes could break or his paint could get scuffed! I recommend using a stand to display him so that there are no accidents.
