Aliens known as the Aricebo made themselves known five years after The First Collapse. A code containing information about humanity was broadcast from Earth in AD 1974 with no real intention of it being actually received by sentient life- but the interstellar radio message was intercepted near the M13 star cluster.  The dimension hopping, curious aliens made their way to our planet to see what the ape-people wanted, unfortunately arriving after we had nearly wiped ourselves from the planet. Feeling sorry for humans and what we had done, they decided to stay for a bit and help out.

Aricebo are germanium based sentient beings who evolved from Nudribranch- like creatures.  Their bodies are made up of a soft, gel like translucent flesh encased in a rigid shell. They also have internal skeletons but their appendages lack a core structure and can bend in any direction, yet are quite strong when “tensed”. The texture has been described as like a soft silicone ( or what I’d personally describe as like a partially defrosted ice cream mochi ).. Aricebo sport long quills from their domed heads which serve as gesturing appendages, moving and flexing when the owner talks, similar to how humans use their hands or face to indicate mood and intent. It can take awhile to get to know their quill language just as Aricebo try very hard to understand human facial expression. Lucky for humans, they are endlessly patient and curious….

This is a 1/6 ( 12" tall) scaled posable one of a kind figure. The blank body , bag and clothes are store bought but modified! I did NOT sew the clothes!  The head, hands and feet sculpted on my own and cast in translucent urethane. The cast parts are painted and assembled so the figure can still move and pose. The fingers, toes and head are translucent! Please be mindful of his hands, as they are prone to coming out easily!

The heads glow in the dark!

Please treat this piece with care! It can be played with and posed but don't get too nuts with him. His fingers and toes could break or his paint could get scuffed! I recommend using a stand to display him so that there are no accidents.
