The Baku is a creature from Japanese folklore that eats nightmares! It is summoned after a nightmare by saying "Baku, devour my dream! Baku, devour my dream! Baku, devour my dream!" They are said to have the trunk of an elephant, the body of a bear and the paws of a tiger. Baku are a sacred animal, carved onto temples and painted onto folding screens to protect humans from illness and evil.

These 3.5 " finished figures were cast in urethane and coated in a real stone medium that makes the surface cold to the touch just like real stone! I added faux moss and paint to create a weathered effect. Each necklace is made of copper and bone. The eyes are reflective glass!

These 3.5" tall figures were hand sculpted and then cast in translucent urethane. They are hand painted to look like a baby tapir and set with color shifting metallic glass eyes. Each one is a tiny unique friend!
