WARDING PAW COLD CAST IRON WALL TALISMAN ( BASIC VERSION)

" There is a tradition to appeal to the patron spirit of a household to provide protection from minor harm for it's residents by using these iron plaques hung with ribbons made from paper, parchment, dried leaves or even leather. Each ribbon bears a painting suggesting specific worries or troubles written in personal private symbolic code. A new ribbon is left out during a moonless night with an offering of food. If the offering is gone the next morning , the worries have been heard and the strip is attached to the iron plaque. Worries that have passed are removed. Each household will attach items of importance to bolster or remind the patron spirit of it's requests for protection or to thank them for a job well done."

These plaques measure 5.5 x 4". It is hand sculpted with clay and cast using iron metal powder mixed with urethane aka "cold cast" which gives the look, feel and polish of real metal without the cost of real metal.

The eye is glass backed with reflective color shifting paint.

Each piece has metal, bone and glass beads and decorations. Feel free to add your own personal trinkets!
