"Nipnogs are basically a mouth with a very, very tiny brain. They will clamp on to just about anything that moves, launching themselves at their target with their feeble, stumpy legs. Once the mouth is opened, the Nipnog can no longer see his target and usually misses. Their teeth are nubby pegs and don't really puncture skin but their jaws can lock on once they get a decent hold. No one is really sure how a creature so useless and ridiculous evolved or continues to survive as a viable population but perhaps they are blessed with some sort of magical luck.

Nipnogs have bioluminescent markings, some glowing with small spots and others producing a full body glow that can give off a fair amount of light. Because of this and their tendency to lock on to things with their mouths, Nipnogs are often used as convenient clamp on lanterns. The older a Nipnog gets, the duller their nocturnal glow which makes them excellent, softly glowing night lights for small children! Nipnogs aren't really mean or sweet, they are just driven by their instinct to bite and are devastatingly stupid. If you want a doofy little pal and don't mind the possibility of them latching onto your ear ( it doesn't hurt), Nipnogs are for you!"

I created these guys with the fantastic input of Steve Dwyer! A joint effort to make the dumbest monster ever.

These blank figures are cast in solid urethane and stand at 4" ( closed mouth) and just below 6" ( open mouth)

These are unpainted and will require some assembly and seam sanding/scraping. Please do not purchase if you are not prepared to finish these on your own. Be sure to wash these with dish soap before painting to remove any mold release from the surface.

These figures take 12mm eyes.

Glow effects can be achieved with paints from here!

CLOSED MOUTH: Includes body and two ears

OPEN MOUTH: Includes body, top jaw and two ears. The top jaw is *not* hinged and must be glued into the body.

The seam of the ears can be blended by using some epoxy putty, tooling to blend it and then smoothing with a brush dipped in water as seen below:
