This is a one of a kind wearable piece that I made for myself to wear to Blizzcon 2023! It is not based on a specific armor set but is my own quickie version of a Druid from Diablo 4.
It is not perfect since it had to rush a bit but i think it stillturned out great. The horns are ram horns with a new texture sculpted over them to create a unique look. The head, teeth and claws were sculpted in clay and are cast in urethane. The fur is faux fur fabric that was shaved and airbrushed.
There is a molar piece hanging from a horn that was made by SMOGTEETH!
The eyes are half dome glass cabochons with a special super reflective gold paint backing them. It catches the light and almost makes them look lit up in certain environments.
The top is separate from the claws that drape over the shoulders. The claws are attached to a single faux fur piece that goes over the back of your neck and over your shoulders. The headdress then has a fur backflap that hangs down over the draped claws. The headdress has foam glued in with a wide elastic band that goes around the back of your head to keep the head from sliding.
Due to time, the fur is all high heat hot glued and not sewn together! It is still a quality piece but i want to make sure the buyer knows this. The inside of the shoulder claw piece and the inside of the draped back fur is not lined and is pretty ugly haha! But it works just fine and is durable.
Please be very careful with the horns as they are hollow cast urethane with foam inside. They will hold up to normal wearing but just be aware of this. Do not pick up or carry the piece by one horn.
The headdress is 4 pounds , 12 ounces! I was able to wear it comfortably for several hours over the event ( full disclosure, i did sweat in this!!!)- it is balanced pretty well. Please be careful hugging people when wearing it!
I made this to fit my 23" head but the elastic will allow for larger sizing or the buyer could just cut and extend the elastic by sewing in more length and sewing it back together. Larger heads may experience some discomfort with the back molars being too close to your face and pinching your temples. Feel free to modify this to fit if you need to do some tooth surgery to make room!
