KERIT THE GRIMMUN DOLL

This is Kerit the Grimmun. Grimmun are benevolent forest creatures who are only seen when they choose to be. They are masters of camouflage, they are the quick specks you see in the corner of your eye that are gone when you turn to look. When you first enter a forest, you should offer the Grimmun something sweet: cookies, baked goods, sugar cubes. If you do, they will watch for you and make your journey more safe and will sometimes make sure you find interesting things! When you leave, check the spot where you left the treats since sometimes these little creatures will leave you a treasure. Sometimes it's a simple acorn or rock , sometimes it's something the Grimmun made itself, a carved antler or wood bit.

Each Grimmun has an essence: Kerit's is shadow. He likes to hide and watch but he will occasionally play tricks by moving items. Kerit likes to laugh so he will hang from a tree, tickle a hiker's head and then disappear when they look. He thinks it's very funny but feels a little bad if they get scared. Kerit's favorite food offering is a vanilla cookie

This is a handmade one of a kind doll. The head, hands and feet are cast urethane that is hand painted and sealed with clear coat. The body is stuffed faux fur with a flexible armature. He can be posed in a lot of positions!

Kerit stands at 15" toe to ear tip. His necklace is made from polished antler, wood, jasper, glass opalite and amber.

This doll will come with an etched wood tag with the name,date and artist signature.
