So I found another huge issue with shopify that is making me very glad that I was forced to switch to bigcartel!
Apparently when I fulfilled orders using keywords to batch pack multiple orders of the same piece , shopify was not showing me ALL of the unfulfilled orders as it has for years ( despite the default showing "all orders"). At some point of the enshittification process they switched to the user having to also click "unfulfilled". Not knowing this, I apparently missed a lot of iron effigy, charm and maybe some claw orders from LAST YEAR. Horrifying!
It seems to be something that affected large numbers of orders placed within a few days like preorders. I'm pretty pissed off at shopify and at myself for trusting that drop down menu. Shopify has been adding more clicks and drop downs and micro managed time wasters when it comes to creating listings and fulfilling orders so I should have been more vigilant.
ALL charm orders have gone out and while the iron effigy orders placed at the start of the preorder opening are not technically late, I thought I had completed the production run weeks ago...but apparently half the orders were hidden from my search. They are going out ASAP.
So I apologize for all of this and doing my best to get stuff out!
