KING FOO DOG DOLL- REY

 This is Rey! He's a King Foo Dog. That just means he's pretty old and wise, once Foo Dogs get old enough they are known as Kings or Queens. Rey isnt his real name, that was forgotten long ago. Don't assume just because he's old Rey isnt any fun!  He's got a great sense of humor and a laid back outlook on life since he's been around for so long. Not much bothers him and he just wants to hang out and tell stories. He's a good friend for anyone who worries too much.  All he wants is some black coffee and a pipe of aromatic tobacco to relax with.

Rey is HUGE. He's the largest doll i have made so far. Holding him is like holding a small child! Check out his four arms too.

This is a handmade, one of a kind piece of art. The face, horns and claws are an original sculpt cast in resin that is then hand painted. Each cast piece is sealed with clear coat. The body is a soft, non articulated floppy style stuffed with soft polyfill and plastic pellets to weight the butt for easy sitting. High quality thick faux fur body. Three glass eyes are sculpted into his face and give a feeling of life to him. 

 The braids and hair pieces are made from dyed wool, some of which was purchased from wool artisans who specialize in dying fibers. I try to support other independent artists with my material purchases when i can! His braids are wrapped in thin metal copper ribbon with brass rings.

Rey also sports strange long flexible spines from the back of his neck and back. These are made from soft silicone so he can still be hugged. Each one is hand shaped and set into the doll.

Rey's necklace is made from real deer antler "tines" or ends along with African amber chunks, sea urchin spines, glass and stone beads... a cast of a replica tiger's claw hangs from the center.

Every one of my dolls comes with a signed resin monster face medallion tag marking it as one of my one of a kind critters. These dolls are meant to be petted and cuddled a bit but please treat them with care. Wipe the face or paws with a slightly damp cloth to clean any scuffs or dust.  They are not rated for young children!
