WASTELAND SENTINEL HALF MASK

Ready to wear, finished and painted mask. This mask is sculpted in a wax based clay, a mold is created and the mask is cast in urethane, sanded and hand painted. Each mask is sealed with clear coat to protect the paint.

I wore this at Wasteland Weekend 2021, there is some wear on the inside fangs but otherwise it is ready for more adventures! The tusks are cast in a lightweight urethane and attached with epoxy and sculpted epoxy putty on the base. There are cotton straps with goat hair and a gifted long braid from a past wasteland event attached to the back. This is a very unique version of my Sentinel mask!

This mask has foam inside and a non adjustable elastic strap, buyer may need to replace the strap for a better fit.

You may need to add or subtract the foam to get it to fit you just right. You can also widen the mask with heat if it is too small:

 If the mask does not fit use a heat gun on the inside or heat in the oven at around 175 degrees for a few minutes. Gently open the sides of the mask by pulling them. Set the shape you want by leaving on an upturned bowl or object to hold the shape while it cools. Let the mask completely cool before handling again.

-Please treat this piece of artwork carefully. Wrap in cloth while traveling with it to prevent any damage to the paint surface. Do not leave in direct sunlight- if the mask does warp you can easily shape it back to your desired width with heat.

 -This mask fits most faces but a perfect fit is not guaranteed.

- Do not use this as safety equipment or a welding mask or anything else but costuming. Please don't make dumb choices with this. I am not responsible for injuries sustained through improper use of this mask.
