MS. BLACKWOOD OOAK ART DOLL

This is my friend Ms. Blackwood. She is a wise witch monster lady who travels the world helping needy people. She travels in the form of a black mist at night listening for whispered prayers and pleas for help. Ms. Blackwood uses her magic or her smarts to solve these problems or at least get things set in motion to come to a good end. Each one of the objects on her traveling scarf represents a problem she helped solve... heart charm for a lost child, a stomach charm for a healed sickness, etc. Ms. Blackwood would like to find a new place to stay if you can help her out!

This doll made from faux fur and urethane. Glass eyes. The body has a poseable armature. She can stand on her own in certain poses but i recommend the use of her stand to prevent any accidents as she is top heavy ( stand is included) Please treat this art piece gently, this is not a child's toy.

Ms. Blackwoods scarf is made from cotton with pewter milagros charms, brass accents, a cast bird skull from Skullery and other metal accents. It also features an antique enamel pin from a Shinto shrine. The scarf is not removable. Her necklace is made from glass, fossil shark tooth, fossil garfish scale, amber and semi precious stone.
 

Every one of my dolls comes with a signed and dated etched wood tag.

 

These dolls are meant to be petted and cuddled a bit but please treat them with care. Wipe the face or paws with a slightly damp cloth to clean any scuffs or dust.  They are not rated for young children!
