PURKOY THE GRIMMUN DOLL

This is Purkoy the Grimmun. Grimmun are benevolent forest creatures who are only seen when they choose to be. They are masters of camouflage, they are the quick specks you see in the corner of your eye that are gone when you turn to look. When you first enter a forest, you should offer the Grimmun something sweet: cookies, baked goods, sugar cubes. If you do, they will watch for you and make your journey more safe and will sometimes make sure you find interesting things! When you leave, check the spot where you left the treats since these little creatures will leave you a treasure. Sometimes it's a simple acorn or rock , sometimes it's something the Grimmun made itself, a carved antler or wood bit.

Each Grimmun has an essence: Purkoy's is flame. She's a fun, cheerful little sprite but is also very protective of the people who come into her forest. She will warm lost travelers during cold nights. Purkoy also loves to preen her human pals and LOVES to preen beards with her long beak. Her favorite offering is marmalade.

This is a handmade one of a kind doll. The head, hands and feet are cast urethane that is hand painted and sealed with clear coat. The body is faux fur stuffed with polyfill, floppy style doll.

Purkoy's necklace features a pendant sculpted by the wonderful doll maker, Remjie! The rest is made from amber, glass, seeds and various stones.

13" tall seated.

This doll will come with an etched wood tag with the name,date and artist signature.
