WYGLEFORTE THE GRIMMUN OAK DOLL

Regular price $375.00 $0.00 Unit price per

This is Wygleforte the Grimmun. Grimmun are benevolent forest creatures who are only seen when they choose to be. They are masters of camouflage, they are the quick specks you see in the corner of your eye that are gone when you turn to look. When you first enter a forest, you should offer the Grimmun something sweet: cookies, baked goods, sugar cubes. If you do, they will watch for you and make your journey more safe and will sometimes make sure you find interesting things! When you leave, check the spot where you left the treats since these little creatures will leave you a treasure. Sometimes it's a simple acorn or rock , sometimes it's something the Grimmun made itself, a carved antler or wood bit.

Wygleforte is an ember Grimmun! He loves to carve wood and make trinkets. Wygleforte LOVES toasted marshmallows so have plenty of those on hand if you give him a home...he can mow through a bag of marshamallows in minutes!

His long ear hairs and back spines glow BRIGHT in the dark. His finger tips glow purple too!  His glass eyes are a really cool reflective green.

10" tall seated.

This doll is hand made using cast urethane from original sculptures, a hand sewn faux fur body. This doll is not articulated, it is a floppy style doll stuffed with eco friendly soft fiber stuffing and weighted to sit for display.

As with all of my original dolls, this piece will come with a signed and dated etched wooden tag marking it as one of my one of a kind critters.

This is a piece of artwork intended for adult collectors. It can be played with and cuddled a little but please treat it with care to prevent scuffs. Clean any cast parts with a slightly damp cloth, do not use solvents. Fur can be combed and styled if desired.

I do not take on commissioned work.
