KOBOLD UPDATE
All preorders placed through Sept 20th are fulfilled! The last of them will ship out Friday. The Sept 27th batch will take another 2-4 weeks to pour...everything is on schedule so far!
KOBOLD AND GENERAL UPDATE
The first mold set for the Kobold pre-order is finished and i will be making a second set to move the production a bit faster. I wanted to experiment with the rotocasting machine and that took some trial and error since the molds must be built differently. I am planning to start casting next week BUT I have also had guests from out of town and then OF COURSE got sick this last week so it's all been moving much slower than I'd like. But it is moving!

Just letting y'all know that the preordered Medieval wall hanger blank casts are almost all poured and out the door! I have seven left and will have them finished in a week or so :)
KOBOLD WHISKERS + EARS
I used a mix of glow in the dark and translucent Cosclay to make durable whiskers for my Kobold! It is pretty easy, you just roll out tiny snakes and make sure the ends are tapered to look like a whisker. But here are some tips that may help! I use the blade of my hand first to get an even snake: then a finger to roll it out more: but a good way to really taper it is to place the snake onto the baking pan you will be using and tamp down the back so that it sticks to...
MAKE KOBOLD EYES
I made the eyes using a similar but smaller version of the Moffmang eyes Use these Tim Holtz 1.25" dimensional domes I bought a cheaper version of those domes on amazon and they were not nearly as clear so definitely use the Tim Holtz brand. Visor film here See through black screen is stereo speaker cloth or fine black mesh fabric. I used 15mm round cabochons like these and painted the back with gold acrylic but there are other options!
