BARN OWL MASK WITH REFLECTIVE EYES

These are hand painted wearable pieces of art. The original was sculpted by hand from clay, a mold was made and the final pieces are cast in a semi flexible urethane.

These masks were hand painted and feature reflective glass eyes. There is a color shifting effect on the purple and darker gold eyes. Purple shifts to a gold, the gold shift with a green. One pair of the gold eyes does not have this color shift effect but has a much brighter and more reflective gold.

The black part of the eyes is made of a see through screen, this is what you will look through when wearing this mask design. Please take care when wearing in a poorly lit environment as the screen will make things a bit harder to see.

While this is a wearable piece, please treat it with care to prevent scuffing or damage.

I recommend displaying them vertically on a fake head or hung on a wall, displaying them flat on a table could cause them to slowly deform and flatten especially in warm environments.

This mask has an adjustable 1" soft elastic strap and inner padding. Some of the padding can be removed or added to for a better fit. Please keep in mind a perfect fit is not guaranteed!

The basics:

- This is for one (1) painted, sealed and ready to wear urethane mask. It will come with an adjustable elastic strap and inside padding. Padding may need to be shaved down or added to for the mask to fit correctly.

- These are produced one at a time in my own studio.

- Please be sure to provide the correct address when placing your order, all orders will be shipped to the address im provided with and cannot be changed after the order is placed. No exceptions, sorry!

Mask info:

-This mask fits most faces but a perfect fit is not guaranteed. Cannot be worn with glasses.

 - This urethane is sensitive to heat. Please keep it out of direct sunlight as it can warp under it's own weight when hot.  You can use a heat gun or hair dryer to heat the back of the mask until it becomes pliable. Set the shape you want by leaving on an upturned bowl or object to hold the shape while it cools.

- Do not use this as safety equipment or a welding mask or anything else but costuming. Use common sense, please. I am not responsible for injuries sustained through improper use of this mask.
