WASTELAND FIRE SENTINEL HALF MASK

Ready to wear, finished and painted mask. This mask is sculpted in a wax based clay, a mold is created and the mask is cast in urethane, sanded and hand painted. Each mask is sealed with clear coat to protect the paint.

This is a very unique version of my Sentinel mask! The spikes are not sharp and cast from soft, flexible materials. The LONG blades are cast in hard material but are not sharp. The fabric is dyed cotton with a mesh veil. The mask has been "pre-dusted" and has a light coat of dust worked into crevices and the top of the cloth.

This mask is cast in urethane and painted to look like rusted metal. It is not made from real metal.

PLEASE BE MINDFUL: The spikes are screwed on, please be very careful that you don't get this hit or pushed with a lot of force into your face. The foam will provide protection but I want to make the buyer aware that there are metal parts in those spikes to avoid any potential injury! The spikes are durable but not indestructable- please do not store the mask facing down to avoid bending or breaking the spikes.

This mask has foam inside and an adjustable elastic strap.

You may need to add or subtract the foam to get it to fit you just right. You can also widen the mask with heat if it is too small:

 If the mask does not fit use a heat gun on the inside or heat in the oven at around 175 degrees for a few minutes. Gently open the sides of the mask by pulling them. Set the shape you want by leaving on an upturned bowl or object to hold the shape while it cools. Let the mask completely cool before handling again.

-Please treat this piece of artwork carefully. Wrap in cloth while traveling with it to prevent any damage to the paint surface. Do not leave in direct sunlight- if the mask does warp you can easily shape it back to your desired width with heat.

 -This mask fits most faces but a perfect fit is not guaranteed.

- Do not use this as safety equipment or a welding mask or anything else but costuming. Please don't make dumb choices with this. I am not responsible for injuries sustained through improper use of this mask.
